Biography
F. G. Blomfield, rector of St. Andrew's Undershaft, London, and granddaughter of Dr. Blomfield, Bishop of London, was born at Finsbury Circus October 4, 1858. The "marriage hymn" found in this volume was written before the author's marriage to Mr. Gerald Gurney, whose father, Rev. A. T. Gurney, is author of several meritorious hymns. Mrs. Gurney is now living in England, but we do not know her present address.[2]
